Please join the Hampshire and the Islands Historic Churches Trust community. We raise funds for Hampshire and the Islands churches to help pay for repairs and improvements to the fabric of their buildings, contents, and churchyards. We have numerous events throughout the year for Friends - please visit our website for further information.

Our main income is the sponsored Ride and Stride event on the 2nd Saturday of September each year. Over 400 churches will be open throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight - many with refreshments for you to enjoy.

If you are a fundraiser please nominate the church on your fundraising page title who will receive 50% of your funds raised



Why we're raising money

Ride & Stride is the main fund-raising event for Hampshire and the Islands Historic Churches Trust which provides grants & loans to the region's historic churches (of all denominations) for essential repairs and restoration work in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. Half the money raised by each participant will go the church of their choice; the other half goes to HIHCT
