About Us

St Paul's CE Primary School is a 1.5 form entry Primary School situated in Ryhope, Sunderland, Tyne & Wear. Our school is an “outstanding” (Ofsted 2018) school for children aged 3-11 years.

Our Christian Values of Love, Forgiveness, Courage and Respect, pervade every aspect of school life and we truly believe that 'Something Special Happens Here.'

Why we're raising money

After learning about recent events in Ukraine, our children have, as always, reacted with compassion and empathy for those children, who, just like them, were going to swimming, dance and football lessons just a few weeks ago and who now are fleeing their homes and country with the most basic of belongings. We very much hope that as a school community, and hopefully beyond, that we can raise money to help support the children of Ukraine during these troubling times. Please help if you can.

All monies raised during our fundraising campaign will be donated to the UNICEF Ukraine Crisis Appeal. Please help us meet our target!

How are UNICEF supporting children in Ukraine?

UNICEF are working tirelessly to reach the most vulnerable children and families in Ukraine and supporting them by:

  • helping to provide families with access to clean water and nutritious food.
  • helping to make sure that child health and protection services are sustained.
  • working with partners and the UNHCR to assess the refugee situation across neighbouring countries.
